Stellar episode. I love back story resolution. So Lidia has let the principles of the Empire twist her love for Octavia into an obsessive need for a rematch and revenge to restore her honor, but she wasn't even aware that it had been herself who had held back during that last match all that time ago out of sympathy and friendship. Octavia in truth was more skilled anyway, and had to end it now for her new tribe's security, painfully aware with a deep suspicion the whole time of her and Lidia's bond and true love for one another...
Now I wish that Lidia hadn't reached that point-of-no-return emotionally so they could have reunited, but I guess tragedy keeps the bigger picture more realistic.

But seriously, this episode is so awesome I loved it and I love this show!

So, would this be considered as an "Epic battle"? Lidia and Octavia could almost be mistaken as sisters... another episode that seemed a bit serious... some "growing"... "maturing" ... I think this series is getting better as I keep watching... = )
