I think it would have been better if they stuck to the manga and had shikamaru smoke. It had a bit of coolness to it and made it a reasonable and unwasted reason to smoke. When someone who was close to you, who used to be a smoker, not smelling them makes it that much harder. I think it would have been logical to stick to the manga. What does everyone else think?
next epi..well, naruto will learned his new ultimate jutsu a rasengan combined with elemental wind chakra that will kill kakuzu in one blast..also shikamaru will ba defeated hidan in a tactical battle as always..and yup jaraiya will be killed in the hand of pain 6 pain i mean..after him knowing the truth about pain,,that will be the sadest part of this anime..then naruto will learned to become a sage greater than jaraiya..and almost forgot...sasuki will kill orochimaru then he will create a squad to kill his brother itachi not knowing that his brother is not a villain but a loving and supporting brother to him..after uchiha madara tell him the truth about his brother..sasuke will join akatsuki in a goal to crush konoha..well thats enough i guesss...go anime....

I gotta agree with unbreakable. Asuma was lame. He didn't do much of anything -ever-. Yes, it's sad about his girl, but... oh well. Saddest episode is still the death of Haku and Zabuza!
everyone heres info on asuma.... he sucks!!!!!!! ther i said it he sucks this is the bigest role hes had in the series, so what if he dies. if a main character dies like ummmmm kakashi dies then u can be upset...... i would be devistated viva la KAKASHI !!!!!!!!

sad..they really know how to make a sad moment back there in japan. there very symbolic it adds to the sadness like the lighter is the flame of life going out and the rain is the sadness that follows very touching.
