Now here is where I turn into a drooling fanboy at the sight of this anime. D. Gray Man would easily be anyone\'s top anime and let me tell you for an anime that is based (loosely) on the bible, it goes that extra mile. If it had been continued it would have been one of the regulars and populars like Naruto, One Piece, Bleach and considered a classic like DragonBall.

The ideas are one of a kind and it pushes the idea of good and evil that little bit further than others, epecially if anyone who reads the manga will clearly see. How far must the exorcists go to defeat the evil akuma? Why is it that the Millenium Earl hates humans and God so much when he himself was one of the apostles? Look it really is an anime that anyone should watch and once you get to the end of the anime, read the manga! I mean it is one of those animes that gets you hooked and anyone who saw it wishes it could have kept following the epic manga that is still going on even today.

Ok so exorcists in D. Gray Man are people who have come in contact and syncronised with a divine matter called innocence. They use this innocence to fight against akuma, evil beings/machines created by the Millenium Earl to kill humans using souls of the dead as an energy source. My profile picture is of the main character, Allen Walker, with his fully synchronised innocence (sorry to spoil it!) and let me tell you it is beastly!! This is one anime that I would make anyone watch without caring whether or not its not their style because it\'s one anime that makes you think, \"THIS... IS... ANIME!!\".

It\'s funny as well as action packed so I\'d say to anyone who watches anime, this is one of the must-see animes that you can\'t say you know anime until you\'ve seen this! This is Number 2 on my top ten anime and my Number 1 manga to read.

this is an anime that truly is deserving of the title epic. first the plot. u would think a plot of good vs evil loosly based of the bible wouldn\'t work but it does. the character development  is some of the best ive ever seen. each character is unique and doesn\'t fit any of the typical stereotypes. u will feel for them laugh with them and cry for them. the villains in this anime are some of the most ruthless u will find anywhere.[spoiler-allen vs tyki first fight]in few animes are the villians as well fleshed out and popular as the main characters but they are here. u will learn to love to hate the earl and the noahs. the music in this series is hands down the best in any anime.some shows have an epic fight song or great opining or ending but this show has epic music throughout.  roads song lalas lullaby and musician are just a taste of what this show has to offer.the only downsides are 2. first this show is a slow starter. it will take about 30 episodes for it to truly hook u. second and the biggest was that it was cancelled in its prime due to the author having health issue. the manga still continues as a monthly but there is no clear sign of the anime ever returning. i truly believe that if it had continued to air it might have taken the crown form the big 3[bleach,naruto,one piece] d.grayman u truly were epic and will sorely be missed.

Oh Allen Walker you will be missed! Shocked this was canceled. You can tell they only scratched the surface of its potential...If they would have continued this anime it would have been one of the best ever!  

    For one this anime had the best villain ever!!!  The Earl is truly ruthless!  seriously you love to hate this guy.

....if you liked Naruto you will like D. Gray-man.  This is high praise but I feel this anime is second to only Naruto in terms of Universe and Character Development.  Layers and Layers of material on each character.  

Oh what could have been... 4 out of 5 because it was canceled
