Mirai Nikki

Middle school 2nd year, Amano Yukiteru, is a boy who has problem making friends. He thinks of himself as a bystander and will always write down everything he sees in a cell phone diary.

Tormented by solitude, Yukiteru began to imagine things like a friend called Deus Ex Machina who is apparently the Lord of Time & Space. Seeing Yukiteru's miserable state, Deus gives him a new ability. His diary will now record events that will happen in the near future. Yukiteru is then forced to participate in a game which the winner will become Deus's successor.

      Pretty good.
Let\'s start by saying, it is quite unique. There aren\'t many shows, or any (to my knowledge) that are about time control and a competition to become a god. The character development for the Main male/female protagonists was more or less pretty good. The way they start and end each episode really caught my attention and lured me into the show more and more each time. Each episode they give you a small hint that is a key to the story, but if you\'re too lazy for that they explain it in the last 5 or 6 episodes.  Nearing the last 3 episodes, it also gave a type of Inception type of ordeal because of the worlds and Murmur, so I wouldn\'t blame anyone if they couldn\'t follow along with the story. The last episode, for the first time, satisfying. They gave about.. 5 minutes or so to explain what happened after the victor is recognized which is A LOT compared to other shows, plus the song in the background of those 5 minutes was pretty good. My only complaint was the last part where Yuki (pardon my language) became a little b*tch and did nothing for 10,000 years. I\'m hoping that they stick to their word and a \'New Project\' starts. All in all, it\'s very good and keeps you in suspense at all times. This is a recommended, so watch it

Deus gives him an ability to look into the future with his diary later on he finds out hes not the only one to obtain a diary 11 others as Deus tells them they are in a game of survival the one to kill all of them will have the throne and will become a god of time and space. Yukki teams up with the secondary owner Yuno as she has an enternal love for Yukki. will these two survive the game and become gods ? watch and find out hope this was more useful then my last review first time doing something like this so hope i done better enjoy!

     Gripping...

I\'m only around 15 episodes in out of the 25 out. But I can at least give this my honest thoughts. It\'s pretty intense. A small synopsis would be:

An introverted young boy by the name of Yuki(/Yukiteru?) spends his day to day life recording all that which happens around him; what he observes anyway. When he reaches his home, he has \'imaginary friends\', one of which being \"Deux Ex Machina\"; whilst, unbeknownst to Yuki, is actually the God of Time and Space. Yuki mentions that he\'s bored of his current lifestyle, so Deus Ex sets up a game to alleviate his boredom. This game isn\'t an ordinary one however, it\'s a survival game. A survival game where the players use their \'diaries\' as mystical tools to help find the other players. Many twists and turns begin to take it\'s toll on Yuki, as he slowly becomes more extroverted and perhaps insane. Yuki is accompanied by Yuno Gasai, a self pronounced fanatic of Yuki. Yuki refers to her as a stalker, but still shows her some kindness since Yuno has promised never to leave his side. However, Yuki becomes more and more afraid of Yuno as he reveals some shocking secrets about Yuno, which shows that she is not quite right in the head...

But that\'s it! Don\'t want to ruin too much aha. P:

Definitely though, I\'d recommend watching this, it makes you think and take sides with characters you might not expect to, villains become heroes and heroes become villains; it\\\\\\\'s a enigmatic plot with multiple twists.

Thanks for reading!

      Worth Watching

Some people tend to be bothered by \"weak\" main characters, which is a shame because that could easily ruin the series for you. Yukki and Yuno are a bit strange, the plot\'s a little on the disturbing side, and it gets a bit graphic. Despite that this is still a very good psychological anime; you really can\'t \"read into it too much\". The plot\'s there and the plot\'s solid. Assuming this series continues to follow the manga (which was quite good).

There are a few other drawbacks, so this could be considered a niche series, but it\'s worth getting past the first... I\'d say 6 episodes before giving it a harsh judgement. The characters really start to develop further on, they don\'t start out very strong. Then again none, this season, have. So unless you\'ve read the manga, it\'s a bit too early to pass judgment. Luckily the production value of this anime seems to be high enough to do the manga justice.

If you enjoyed Death Note, then you\'ll probably get something out of this as well. The details in this series aren\'t as blatant as Light spouting his \"over analysis\" of every situation, but the details are there and they hold the same depth. You just have to watch for them a bit more carefully. This trends more towards romance rather than psychological in respect to Death Note though; so be warned. (Note that these are relative terms, this is a bit too graphic to be considered \"romantic\" under most other circumstances.)

     Mirai Nikki

Orginality: B

Art: B

humor: B

Characters: B

Story: C

Impression: Starts off pretty funny, basically the protagonist is a loner with no friends who writes his daily life in his diary, until one time when he is imagining his fake god of time/space he realizes he wasn\'t imagining it at all, after realizing this he is soon put into a death battle with other people who used their cellphone for some purpose before they were selected to take part in this \"death frenzy\". Overall not bad so far, has the potential to have a mind fuck ending, and is the only anime from fall 2011 to give that creepy/stalker feeling. This anime has all the essentials needed to attract a sadist. It has blood, sci-fi, mystery a creepy stalker for a bonus. And not to mention how clear the animation is. It’s like watching it in edited HD
