Chance Pop Session

This anime is based on a 1999 radio drama about three very different girls: Akari, Yuki and Nozomi; going to see the concert of top pop idol Reika and by going to see this concert their lives are greatly influenced by it.

Akari was raised in a very religious background, she is bright and cheerful and a big Reika fan. Yuki is an independent girl who ran away from her home in Hakodate. She is working in the concert hall of Reika`s performance. Nozomi is the daughter from a wealthy family in Kobe. She`s got one of the VIP seats at the concert.

The three girls are so inspired by Reika`s performance, that they all enroll in the Akiba music school and endeavor to become pop idols themselves.

Chance Pop Session Episode 13 || Angels - On the day of the Musicpolis Contest, Reika senses that the three girls in R3 are Kisaragi's daughters. Akari realizes that the jewels in the crown that Reika received are the same stones that she and her sisters have. Kisaragi and the three sisters are speechless. They have a reunion in front of Yo's grave as Shiro and Reika are looking on.

Chance Pop Session Episode 12 || Beginning - Kisaragi receives a call that Reika and R3 will perform in the Musicpolis Contest. The recording company that R3 is with is about to be purchased by Kaibara's Financial Combine. Kaibara's doting on Nozomi is out of control so Madoka decides to tell Nozomi the truth about her past.

Chance Pop Session Episode 11 || Past - Memories of Kisaragi's past play over and over in her mind. We see Kisaragi in her idol days and then all comes crashing down. Kisaragi is shocked to find out that the three girls in R3 were found on a beach in the north along a coast that was very much like where she had thrown her family into.

Chance Pop Session Episode 10 || Advance - Sales of the girls CD rise steadily and they finally have their first hit on the charts. Seeing the three girls reminds Kisaragi of her lost daughters and her past memories of winning best new singer. Reika becomes jealous of the developing relationship between Kisaragi and the three girls. This reminds Reika of her past and she begins to suffer greatly.

Chance Pop Session Episode 7 || Resonance - Akari returns to school but is very lonesome. Yuuki convinces the other two girls to come join her in a street performance. Kisaragi just happens to hear them and realizes they should very good together. She takes a very strong interest in the three girls and make thems a group called R3. Kisaragi has them sing at a Debut Audition which is being sponsored by a recording company.

Chance Pop Session Episode 6 || Memory - After Akari tells Samuel about the song Yuuki sung and the jewelry, Samuel tells Akari about her childhood. Akari and Yuuki are shocked to learn that they are two out of three sisters. Kaito has an accident and dies. This causes Akari to fall into despair.

This makes Akari wonder who Yuuki is.
